Jonathan Chait doubles down on his 'joke' about people stranded on I-95 pulling themselves up by their bootstraps

As Twitchy reported earlier, Twitter user Reagan Battalion set up a chain on Twitter for people stranded on I-95 to connect with each other to share supplies like food, water, diapers, and warming supplies. It was a great idea, but Jonathan Chait saw “Reagan Battalion” and did his part to help:

That’s right … he joked about the family with several adopted children and a foster child complaining about the high cost of 12 gallons of milk a week by accusing them of taking daily milk baths. That wasn’t funny either — dude just isn’t good at jokes.
