Gunmen kill American teacher in Yemen

A senior Yemeni official says two gunmen on a  motorcycle have killed an American working as a teacher at a language institute  in a city in the center of the country.

Governor of Taez province Hamoud al-Sufi says the  teacher was shot in his car early Sunday in the provincial capital of Taez  city.

He had no details on who the killers might be. He  says an investigation is ongoing.
