Rod Blagojevich, the disgraced Illinois governor on his way to begin a 14-year sentence for corruption at the nearby Federal Correctional Institution Englewood, wasn’t exactly going to prison quietly.
“He just came up to us and started chatting and said, ‘Hi, I’m the former governor and it’s nice to meet you,'” said Kuschel, 15, who was sampling the eatery with some friends. “Then he went on to other people.”
