Democrat Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is in the midst of a political rebranding. Oh, nothing about her has changed. Her handlers are just slapping a new label on an existing product and hoping voters fall for it. The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) member has aspirations beyond New York City and must jettison the baggage of her outspoken far-leftist past. Abracadabra, AOC is a ‘moderate’ now.

I don't see Ocasio-Cortez as a viable 2028 Presidential or VP candidate. She's got a lot of baggage, isn't that intelligent, and outside of her now toxic New York district because of Mamdani, national support should be sparce. The mob is stupid, but not AOC level stupid.

Sadly, this second scenario is more likely. Most Democrats will support who they are told to support no matter how bad they are.

Also, many voters have the attention span of a goldfish and can be easily swayed.
