An illegal alien in Los Angeles is facing federal charges for allegedly staging a hoax ICE ‘kidnapping.’ Authorities say 41-year-old Julia Pelaez Calderon of Mexico claimed ICE agents and bounty hunters grabbed her near a Jack in the Box fast food restaurant in late June, threw her in a van, and then held her in a warehouse to force her to self-deport. Of course, activist ‘journalists’ and their fellow Democrats, like Rep. Norma Torres, ate it up. Authorities say phone records and video of her leaving the scene on the day of the alleged ‘kidnapping’ show she’s lying.

‘This is ICE country!’ Yes, this alleged hoax has been spread far and wide by the legacy media. Any corrections will never catch up with it. We’ll be hearing people referencing this ‘kidnapping’ as a fact for years to come. Calderon is charged with conspiracy and making false statements to federal officers. If Calderon is convicted, she’s looking at a maximum sentence of five years in federal prison for each charge.
