In his quest to stall the vote on President Donald Trump’s 'Big Beautiful Bill,' Senator Chuck Schumer insisted that the bill be read in the Senate in its entirety. So, the political party that can’t tell the difference between a pickle and a doughnut had to hear the definition of 'Woman' in the bill.

Common sense has to be codified because it’s so uncommon amongst Democrats.

You would hope so! But Democrats are stubborn creatures when confronted with the truth.
Although it was a stalling tactic, many posters agree that ALL bills should be read aloud before being voted on.

I think it should be a constitutional requirement that any bill must be read in full on the house and senate floors- and if you arent at the reading, you cant vote on the bill.

We like that last requirement. Although an exception would probably need to be carved out for the Vice President when it comes to Senate tie-breaking votes.
