Pity CBS news stuck in this quandary.

They really want to push the idea that the US needs to pull out of Afghanistan yesterday.

But they absolutely hate the idea of writing any story that might reflect on Islam in general and Sharia law in particular?

So when president Karzai says this:

“The clerics’ council of Afghanistan did not put any limitations on women,” Karzai said, adding: “It is the Shariah law of all Muslims and all Afghans.”

What can a network do? Well you can run it on the web and hope that people don’t read the story that goes with the headline . . . .
