The awkward tension was real on The Kelly File Wednesday night.
Actor, Black Lives Matter activist and author of Black Man, White House, D.L. Hughley was a guest on the show and had much to say about the movement and the Fox News Network.
The argument between Kelly and Hughley began with the recent incident in Minnesota with Philandro Castile.
The conversation the progressed to the Michael Brown dispute. Kelly plainly explained Brown was attacking the police (which is proven), but Hughley refused to acknowledge that Brown was not the victim.
Hughley argued that presumptive innocence for police was more problematic than presumptive innocence for their “victims.”
Kelly cautioned Hughley of the dangers of painting all police as evil, when it really is only a few.
Hughley had nothing left to say other than he found the Fox News Network “insulting and racist.”
Yikes.
D.L. Hughley needs to put on a big red nose and clown shoes because that's exactly what he is. ? @FoxNews
