Jezebel writer who smeared Scott Walker has protected her Twitter account

Jezebel’s Natasha Vargas-Cooper erroneously reported Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s nonexistent desire to stop colleges from reporting campus rapes.  After initially saying she wouldn’t apologize for her mistake, Vargas-Cooper changed her tone.

Now the reporter, a prolific tweeter, has locked her Twitter account, preventing her tweets from being viewed by anyone except her followers.
