Jason La Canfora works for CBS Sports as the “NFL Insider” for the network’s pre-game show, The NFL Today. Last night, while listening to a song by The Libertines, he tweeted “Arbeit Macht Frei.” The German phrase, which means “work makes you free,” is the title of The Libertines’ song but is best known for having been placed over the entrances to numerous Nazi concentration camps during World War II.

@adamjmacd He deleted it. He said "arbeit macht frei" (because he was listening to the Libertines) and didn't know what it meant.

After being informed of his mistake, La Canfora apologized and deleted the tweet.
Message of that song is 1000 percent anti any form of institutionalized violence/prejudice. My deepest apologies for anything otherwise
