Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc., a company founded by Donald Trump, will file for bankruptcy this week.
Via the Press of Atlantic City:
The company oversees the Trump Plaza, which will close on Sept. 16, and the Trump Taj Mahal, which has been the subject of bankruptcy rumors for weeks.
Donald Trump has a 10 percent interest in the company and has asked that it remove his name from the casinos.
We are sad for the casino employees who will lose their jobs. As for Trump, he will presumably have more time now for politics, including birther conspiracies and accusing former President George W. Bush of murder.
Fortunately for him, he’s still filthy rich (thanks in part to the large inheritance he received from his wealthy dad).
Just remember: It’s not your fault you’re not as smart as he is.
