Remember those kidnapped Nigerian schoolgirls? Celebs don't.

It has been more than three months since Boko Haram kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls in Nigeria. Back in May, the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls was ubiquitous. This tweet by Ellen Degeneres received more than 26,000 retweets:

And this tweet from First Lady Michelle Obama got nearly 58,000 retweets:

A long list of stars promoted the hashtag, including UsherThe Rock, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Leona Lewis, Anne Hathaway, Katy Perry, Alyssa MilanoP. Diddy, Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, and Queen Latifah.

The abducted Nigerian girls have not been released, and interest in the cause has waned. Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Fla., however, isn’t giving up. Earlier this month she promised to “tweet, tweet, and tweet” until the girls are returned to their families. She has been keeping her promise, and, last week tried to enlist dozens of celebs to join her:

Yes, she even tweeted even Chris Brown:

So far, none of the above celebrities have responded. Indeed, we have been unable to find a single A-list celebrity who has tweeted the #BringBackOurGirls hashtag this month. (Chelsea Clinton doesn’t count.)

This morning Rep. Wilson tried yet again to rekindle interest in the cause:

Rep. Wilson has nearly 8,000 followers, but at the time of this writing her tweet had received only seven retweets.
