It has been more than two years since AOL acquired the Huffington Post for $315 million ($65 million more than Jeff Bezos paid for the Washington Post) but the website may still be hemorrhaging cash. At least that’s what Matt Drudge’s sources are telling him.

But look on the bright side. AOL gets to subsidize fine journalism like this:
- Huffington Post still pushing heckling hoax
- More Huffpo malfeasance: Byron York forces ‘update’ on Santorum gym shower comments
- Huffpo retracts erroneous claim attacking McDonald’s wage practices
And this.
We wonder if anyone at AOL realizes it bet on the wrong horse.
