Michael Skolnik, editor-in-chief of Global Grind, seems to think he has proof that George Zimmerman is a liar.
Many others think so too:
The infamous"internal holster" that can be seen at night! LMAO. Sorry, that does not compute!
— Subdued Passions (@d_virtuoso) July 8, 2013
If you had an internal holster, which is hard to see, how would he have tried to grab your gun.??
— Double K & B (@Nicoleeee__18) July 8, 2013
Firearm was concealed in an internal holster — how did Trayvon see it? Not to mention…it was dark. The lies just keep on coming

IF GZ'S GUN WAS INTERNAL HOLSTER AND HIDDEN,HOW DID TRAYVON SEE IT AND REACH GOR IT?! #ZimmermanTrial #Justice4Trayvon #BS
— Jackie ??? (@LiberalMmama) July 8, 2013
Hey O'Mara, if GZ had an internal holster then explain how Trayvon saw it and grabbed for it in the dark and rain? #Zimmermantrial #lies
— Jenn (@beantownzgirl) July 8, 2013
If GZ had a internal holster how did he think Trayvon was going for his gun??? Something isn't right #Zimmermanon9
— *R.I.P Grandma* (@SheRealCute_45) July 8, 2013
So if the gun was hidden from view because of the internal holster how did #trayvonmartin go for his gun? #zimmermantrial

We asked Twitchy readers for their input and feedback on Skolnik’s tweet.
They agree that the grip of the gun probably was protruding from Zimmerman’s waistband. It could have been visible if Zimmerman’s jacket was moved during the scuffle with Trayvon Martin:
@TwitchyTeam An "internal holster" just means that it goes on the inside of your pants. The grip/handle of the gun is still exposed .

@TwitchyTeam He doesn't know an internal holster still allows visibility to the gun. He also probably uses the term clip instead of magazine
— Tim P (@FlounderBird179) July 8, 2013
@TwitchyTeam Still sticks out from a person's body. Additionally, grip could become exposed.

@twitchyteam With an internal holster, the entire grip and 2-3" of the gun's frame are still exposed.
— Chris Barrios (@Barriosman) July 8, 2013
@TwitchyTeam The holster itself is inside the waitband, but the butt of the gun sticks out above the belt. His jacket covered it

@TwitchyTeam Might not mean literally "saw", might mean "became aware of". Might have noticed it while straddling Zimmerman.
— Crosspatch (@VictorB123) July 8, 2013
@TwitchyTeam yes, but on top and straddling GZ, could have at any time felt the gun there.

@TwitchyTeam It has been presented that while GZ struggling to free himself, his (concealing) clothing was "moved," revealing the weapon.
— ChateauBryan? (@golfonomics) July 8, 2013
@TwitchyTeam You can also feel something there if you are beating someone up MMA style. Zimmerman can't know whether Martin saw or felt it
— Andy (@An327dy) July 8, 2013
@TwitchyTeam Zimmerman actual claims is Trayvon either saw/felt the gun during their tussle. His jacket was pulled up by that activity.
— ML (@just_mindy) July 8, 2013
@TwitchyTeam He's ignoring where Z said his jacket came up. IWB holster typically still shows the grip and rear of gun, it's not "hidden"

@TwitchyTeam Image search "In the waistband holster" and find 1 that doesn't have the grip protrude above waistline. pic.twitter.com/NyR4RVJmi0

Thank you, Twitchy readers, for setting the record straight.
