Geraldo Rivera defends Hamas-funded 'reporters'

Every year, the Newseum, a Washington D.C. museum, honors journalists killed in the field. But its decision to include Hussam Salama and Mahmoud Al-Kumi this year’s memorial has been drawing heavy criticism.

Salama and Al-Kumi, who worked as cameramen for Hamas-funded al-Aqsa Television, were reportedly Hamas operatives.

As a result of the criticism, Newseum now says it is reconsidering its decision.

Last night, Geraldo Rivera, a Fox News host, weighed in on the controversy, claiming “A reporter killed on the job is a reporter killed on the job. All are equal.”

Even Hamas-funded ones.
