Google defenders: Google doesn't post doodles for religious holidays

Some defenders of Google’s Cesar Chavez doodle are claiming that Google does not post holiday-themed “doodles.”

However, Google posts Christmas-themed doodles every year in late December. Here are a few:

Google itself describes these images as holiday-themed. Given the timing (late December of every year) and the emphasis on toys, the allusion to Christmas is obvious.
