The source of the rumor is some random WordPress blog that in its entire history has published a whopping total of one blog post. You may think, “hey that’s obviously a fake story published by a fake blog. No one would fall for that!”
But you would be wrong. The fictitious blog post published on the dubious blog seemed perfectly convincing to former Daily Beast writer Max Blumenthal and dozens of others who tweeted about it:
