Colo. Democrat makes gun joke that no Republican would ever get away with

Colorado state Rep. Crisanta Duran, D-Denver, made an offhand joke about buying a gun that would be taken as a threat and plastered all over every news channel had it been a Republican:

Ha ha ha! Get it? She needs a gun for self-defense because the crazy right-wingers are going to physically attack her. She’s hilarious!

Meanwhile, kids across America are being thrown out of school if they fashion a gun out of their fingers. Remember how former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was ludicrously blamed for the shooting of Rep. Gabby Giffords? Imagine if she had joked the way Crisanta did. Libs’ heads would have exploded all over the nation — and Palin would have been blamed for that, too.
