Much like Obama’s push to pass new gun restrictions while demagoguing the Newtown, Conn., shooting, many are calling for the repeal of Stand Your Ground laws, despite the fact that Florida’s law had nothing to do with the Zimmerman verdict.
Now, Ebony magazine is joining the fray with four different “We Are Trayvon” covers for its September issue. At least three of the four covers explicitly call for repeal of Stand Your Ground laws.

It’s much easier to slap on a hoodie and pretend to fight for social justice than to recognize a black American is more likely to be murdered by another black American than some “White Hispanic” man.
