Well, kids, they’ve done it again:

@seanmdav @LeonHWolf In fairness Sean, that entire piece is incredibly stupid.

Believe it or not, this headline is the least hilarious thing about the latest progressive slapstick from Vox: pic.twitter.com/h5VLFRb111

In yet another winning piece of journalism, Vox’s Zack Beauchamp — yes, the Gaza Bridge guy — decided to probe one of the most important issues of our time: Whether domestic animals should get citizenship. To get to the bottom of this, he turned to an expert in the field:
What if domestic animals — pets such as dogs and cats as well livestock like cows and chickens — were granted citizenship rights? That may sound like a crazy question, but Canadian philosopher Will Kymlicka thinks it’s a critically important one.
Kymlicka, a professor at Queen’s University, is a well-regarded figure in modern political philosophy. He’s also the author, along with writer Sue Donaldson, of Zoopolis, a book making the case for animal citizenship.
One thing he is not, however, is familiar with is this whole “milk” thing.

We’re not entirely sure. But how fitting that Vox would seek him out for a story!
@seanmdav in defense (sort of) of Vox, that's not the Vox person writing that, it's the crazy person they interviewed
— Leon Wolf (@LeonHWolf) December 16, 2014
@seanmdav that said, that's not an assertion you can allow to go unchallenged
— Leon Wolf (@LeonHWolf) December 16, 2014
Yeah, well fact-checking just isn’t very high on Vox’s list of priorities.

There’s only one thing left to do now: Milk Vox’s stupidity for all it’s worth:

@AnthonyAbides @seanmdav Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for pregnant? Wait, what?
— NeoN: Automataster (@neontaster) December 16, 2014
@seanmdav you ever tried milking a pregnant cow in the middle of rush hour on the gaza bridge?
— Nino (@baldingschemer) December 16, 2014
Matt Yglesias once milked a cat.
