Yesterday, President Obama declared that, when it comes to fixing the economy, he’s ready to use his pen and phone to bypass Congress through executive actions. This morning, House Speaker John Boehner tweeted this response:
Mr. President, we use the #Constitution to get things done. pic.twitter.com/TqmzmoehDZ
— John Boehner (@SpeakerBoehner) January 15, 2014
But some people can’t help but wonder about the strength of Boehner’s commitment:
@SpeakerBoehner Well Mr. Speaker, what do you intend to do about the President's usurpations?

@SpeakerBoehner when are you gonna start standing up for it? Nothing but games.

@SpeakerBoehner Well then stop running your mouth and prove it to America!

@SpeakerBoehner did you lose the constitution? Because you haven't gotten much of anything done.

@SpeakerBoehner @MarkDavis If that is the case Mr. Speaker, then you should start leading like you believe it.
