Chicago Cubs to host 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Day'

Last week, the Colorado Rockies canceled a planned “Nickelodeon Day” in the wake of Jason Biggs‘ sick tweets about Janna Ryan and Ann Romney. Biggs will be voicing Leonardo in Nickelodeon’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” reboot, premiering later this month.

The Chicago Cubs are planning an event this Sunday to promote the kids’ show:

Additionally, Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo will take over Wrigley Field with a gate promotional item, photo opportunities, lucky seat giveaways and more. The promotion will support Nickelodeon’s new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles CG-animated series, set to premiere Sept. 29 on Nickelodeon.

We’re not sure as to whether the Cubs are aware of the fact that Nickelodeon has been promoting Biggs’ Twitter account and has essentially ignored calls from concerned parents to take action, but if not, they should be.
