Based on reported number of new COVID19 cases, Joe Biden's promise to 'shut down the virus' appears to be living down to our expectations

We know how the war in Afghanistan is going … but how about the War on COVID19?

Cracking down on COVID19 was a huge part of Joe Biden’s presidential campaign platform. So we’d expect that after nearly eight months of being president, Biden would have the numbers to back up his promises.

Except Joe Biden has always been full of it, so this was always the more likely scenario:

Biden’s approval ratings for handling COVID aren’t just plummeting because people have lost confidence in his competence.
