No matter what’s going on in the world, at least we know we can always count on David Frum to have a truly terrible take on it.
So, when David saw an article suggesting that vaccine enthusiasm in America could use a booster:
At 38.5% vaccinated, US may be running low on people eager for a shot https://t.co/suhTYTUB9q by @BethMarieMole

This was his take:
Idea: make the vaccine passport a precondition for gun licenses and carry permits. https://t.co/2UeGjCF42f
— David Frum (@davidfrum) April 19, 2021
Idea: make evidence-based, rather than emotionally charged, arguments a precondition for spouting off about guns.

Seriously, what the hell is David doing? The gun control nonsense is bad enough on its own. Throwing “vaccine passports” into the mix? Pure flaming garbage.
And to think this guy claimed Donald Trump was a Fascist. https://t.co/AdlygBoJQK

Courts would quickly rule this hurdle which is unrelated to gun ownership illegal. I'm saying this as a progressive voter who favors strong gun control and vaccinations for anyone who wants them.

This makes more sense for knives, which are unable to maintain social distancing.

See, David, that’s an idea.
People used to take David seriously.

Hey, everyone makes mistakes. What’s important is that they learn from them.
