Charlie Sykes conserves conservatism by invoking Donald Trump in straw man defense of vaccine passports

It’s been nothing short of fascinating to watch self-appointed conservative bulwarks like Charlie Sykes redefine conservatism over the past several years. He seemed pretty solid back in the day, but he’s constantly finding new ways to remind us that it was ultimately all just an act.

Like his take on the notion of government-mandated “vaccine passports,” for example.

He seems to be receptive to the idea, and he’s using Donald Trump to justify it:

If Charlie Sykes were an actual conservative, he’d never play such a stupid game.
