'Good luck, bud'! Beto O'Rourke grabs another shovel to dig his charitable donations grave a few feet deeper

As Twitchy told you last night, Beto O’Rourke attempted to spin his paltry charitable giving as a win for him, explaining that he doesn’t report all of his giving to the IRS and oh yeah — running for office is a charitable contribution in and of itself.

Well, now that he’s had some time to sleep on it, he’s apparently decided that yesterday’s excuse isn’t gonna cut it. So he’s gonna see what else he can dig up:

The only thing he’s digging up, it would seem, is dirt to make his grave a little bigger.

More from Politico:

Speaking to reporters in Virginia on Wednesday, O’Rourke defended his relatively meager giving rate by saying he “didn’t expect to release his taxes because I never thought I’d be running for president.”

“We are trying to go back to some of these organizations to see if they can share with us, over the last 10 years, how much we have donated,” he said, adding that his family has also “donated time on the boards of nonprofits and, certainly, in public service and in public life.”

He’ll have to get back to you guys. Just as soon as he can remember where he donated all that money and time.

There are probably too many to list. He’s just so damn generous, you know.

Maybe we should start a GoFundMe to aid him in his efforts.
