What’s worse than Max Boot or Jennifer Rubin? Max Boot and Jennifer Rubin.
This morning, the Washington Post’s resident “conservatives” teamed up to school Jonah Goldberg on Real Science™:
.@JonahNRO: “One can believe that climate change is a real concern, with some legitimate science on its side…” Some? Try all. See: https://t.co/B7o8aJwCOZ. When did climate denialism become a core tenet of conservatism? Sad to see irrationalism regnant. https://t.co/f6TJEQ96UO

It's weird frankly that not accepting a fact has become a partisan identifier. Progressives also "believe" in gravity; should conservatives refuse to because elites keep telling them it's real? You can still disagree on solutions but why perversely seek to maintain ignorance?
— Jennifer Rubin (@JRubinBlogger) November 28, 2018
Perversely seeking to maintain ignorance? But enough about you and Max, Jennifer. Jonah Goldberg — an actual conservative — doesn’t have time for your games.
Live look at @JonahNRO when Max Boot and Jen Rubin try to gang up on him https://t.co/BGLeOiNOqB pic.twitter.com/ee485o2bk0

Goldberg can shut them down without even breaking a sweat. And that’s basically what he did:
Agree. (In fact, I can think of a whole bunch of facts that liberals can’t accept that might even get you banned from Twitter for expressing). Regardless, your point applies to some on right but not to me nor to many others that Max ignored in his catchall condemnation. https://t.co/56I2LOER9R

Or, put another way, sanctimonious blowhards Max Boot and Jennifer Rubin are full of sh*t.
Am I being too harsh by suggesting that it seems like @MaxBoot or @JRubinBlogger are being disingenuous with responses like "It's weird frankly that not accepting a fact has become a partisan identifier" or other objections?
— Blame Big Government (@BlameBigGovt) November 28, 2018
No, you're not too harsh.

Conservatives like Goldberg can, in fact, acknowledge that science is a thing while simultaneously acknowledging that evidence to support that science is also a thing. But until they buy into the progressive cult, hacks like Boot and Rubin won’t be satisfied.
Yeah. Let's not start in on the science behind unborn children being living human beings.

Or biological sex.
Jennifer has a well established penchant for attributing disagreement to ignorance if one isn’t a democrat.

Editor’s note: Here’s the Jonah Goldberg column that Boot was all bent out of shape about. We highly recommend it.
