Well, looks like Twitter has decided to end Jesse Kelly’s punishment and reinstate his account:

Indeed:
In all his glory.
Welcome back, @JesseKellyDC

.@JesseKellyDC is BACK! I’m very, very curious to hear what Twitter’s explanation of this whole debacle is…

Well, this is apparently what they’re going with:
According to Twitter: "The account was temporarily suspended for violating the Twitter Rules and has been reinstated. We have communicated directly with the account owner."
— Charlie Warzel (@cwarzel) November 27, 2018
Was it really just a temporary suspension? Or were they just tired of the blowback?
Twitter can’t even keep its lies straight on this Jesse Kelly story. First they said PERMANENT DELETION, NO RECOURSE. Now falsely claiming it was a temporary suspension for rules violations they never even accused him of. Get your act together.

Anyhow, this whole thing remains very weird. Full story is not out there. Right now it seems like a mystery only @JesseKellyDC can solve by sharing his correspondence with Twitter…

Guess we’ll just have to stay tuned to find out more.
