'Bingo!' Buck Sexton sums up flaming hypocrisy of libs crying foul over Trump's birthright citizenship threat

Donald Trump’s threat to do away with birthright citizenship using the power of his pen and phone has been nothing if not illuminating. Because while one could pretty easily argue that Trump’s plan is ill-advised, it’s also helping to shine a pretty glaring spotlight on liberals’ hypocrisy.

Buck Sexton summed up their selective outrage quite well:

“Because the Constitution!” is a remarkable argument from many of the same people who think gun rights only belong to a state militia, free speech doesn’t mean you can hurt anyone’s feelings, and executive power means whatever Obama wanted it to mean

You don’t get to cherry-pick when it comes to the Constitution. By all means, oppose Trump’s proposed action on constitutional grounds. But don’t do it in the same breath you use to call for the gutting of the Bill of Rights.

Fairweather constutionlists are just like Hillary being a fairweather federalist; its convenient to the narrative and will go away when it's not.
