As Twitchy told you earlier this week, once-respectable Democrat Kirsten Powers recycled a stale straw man to lecture “white people” about why it’s wrong to dress as someone from “another race or culture” on Halloween:
Dear white people who are upset that you can't dress up as another race or culture for Halloween: your feelings don't matter. The only feelings that matter are of those who feel disrespected/mocked by you appropriating their culture for entertainment.
Show some common decency.

Benghazi hero Kris Paronto couldn’t help but point out that Powers appears to be suffering from a pretty severe case of white savior complex:
How @KirstenPowers sees herself after complaining about white people dressing up as other ethnicities for Halloween ? pic.twitter.com/cqRT0hO7yx

Apparently the truth cut Powers a little too deeply, because she responded by doubling down — and by calling Paronto a racist, of course:
Sorry racists, but people of color don't need a white savior. But they need white people speaking up about racial discrimination and no amount of harassment by crazy racists online is going to stop me from doing that. https://t.co/RBfiH7ybdM

Wow. She’s so stunning and brave!
When you don't have an argument or logical response, scream RACIST! Very elementary for a so called pundit.

Crazy racists disagree with your patronizing lecture. That makes it easy. https://t.co/ucZMZy2fGO

How did you actually manage to get on that high horse. Get dropped from a plane?

For someone who doesn’t believe in white saviors, she sure does think minorities need her speaking for them.
"People of color don't need a white savior"
And yet you play one on twitter— Big Scary Ed ?? (@Falconeddie1) October 25, 2018
Who are you to tell people of color what they need?
— Adam Trahan (@AdamTrahan) October 25, 2018
She’s Kirsten Powers, dammit!
