HOLY SH*T! Roseanne's tweet is too problematic for Disney, but THIS SCUMBAG wasn't?!

Earlier this week, we pointed out that while Roseanne got booted by Disney/ABC over her racist tweet about Valerie Jarrett, Keith Olbermann just got an expanded role at ABC sister network ESPN, despite the myriad awful and misogynistic things he’s said.

Well, Olbermann almost looks like a choirboy compared to Brian Peck:

More from a 2015 Daily Mail article:

The documents show Peck was originally charged with 11 counts including: lewd act upon a child; sodomy of a person under 16; attempted sodomy of a person under 16; sexual penetration by foreign object; four counts of oral copulation of a person under 16; oral copulation by anesthesia or controlled substance; sending harmful matter; and using a minor for sex acts.

In the end he pleaded ‘no contest’ to two counts – lewd act against a child and oral copulation – and the court found him guilty of both. The remaining counts were dismissed.

Peck was convicted in October 2004 and sentenced to 16 months in jail but after completing his sentence returned to Hollywood and resumed his work as an actor and dialogue coach.

IMDB has Peck working on Disney’s “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” from 2006-2007:

So, Disney hired him after his conviction. Roseanne’s tweet may have been disgusting and vile, but in the end, it was still just a tweet. Peck was convicted of molesting a 15-year-old boy and Disney didn’t bat an eye.

What is wrong with this picture?
