A) Hate speech not allowed on campus
B) All speech that's not liberal is hate speech@LegInsurrection @Middlebury @charlesmurray— Razor (@hale_razor) March 6, 2017
As Twitchy told you, last week, Middlebury College made the news when the Tolerance Mob of Tolerance shouted and screamed at guest speaker Charles Murray, following him outside after he gave up and physically assaulting his escort, Professor Allison Stanger, and leaving her with injuries requiring hospitalization.
Well, the college wants to make sure something like this never happens again. So the student government assocation is taking action, warning future violent protest mobs that there will be consequences for their actions.
Just kidding! They’re cracking down on controversial speakers:
So the reaction of the @middlebury SGA to the @charlesmurray is to propose limits on controversial speakers in the future? I can't even. pic.twitter.com/p8Mn2tJNex

Great plan there, Middlebury SGA. A real winner.

@Popehat @Middlebury @charlesmurray As a former SGA VP (not Middlebury), I am embarrassed by this.

Indeed.
For what it’s worth, tweeter Andrew Smith, who lists his location as Middlebury College, had this to say:
to be fair, a number of people immediately pointed out why it was a bad idea and it didn't pass. should show in the minutes

Let’s hope there’s still enough sanity left to ultimately win the day.
