'Savage'! Jake Tapper shuts down Russia Today journo with 'unbelievably sick burn'

Regardless of their opinions about Donald Trump, a lot of people were wowed by the fireworks display at this evening’s inauguration concert. CNN’s Jake Tapper was among them.

That was evidently too much for Russia Today correspondent Anya Parampil to handle, so she tweeted this:

Tuning in to @CNN in time to catch Jake Tapper and Dana Bash compare Trump's fireworks to the 4th of July. Suppose this is vital info.

— Anya Parampil (@anyaparampil) January 19, 2017

Unfortunately for her, as so many others have before her, she underestimated Tapper’s ability to return fire — and then some:

next time tune in to when we're discussing how your boss Vladimir Putin is responsible for human rights abuses and cyberattacks of US https://t.co/rHFnty5dHj

— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) January 20, 2017

Parampil still hasn’t responded — she’s probably too shell-shocked. Because day-um!

Oh, snap.
