Before he jets off to Hawaii, President Obama has deigned to grace us with one last press conference. Naturally, he kicked things off with a long list of all the amazing things he has done for this country — and for the world.
His list included this claim:
Sound familiar? It should. He made the same claim earlier this month:
"Over last 8 years, no foreign terrorist organization has successfully planned and executed an attack on our homeland" —@POTUS

It was outrageous then, and it’s outrageous now.
Will the written transcript footnote a large disclaimer to that statement?

Wow really splitting hairs on that one. Also inaccurate unless they are back to calling Ft. Hood "workplace violence".

That’s an AWFUL lot of weasel wording.

This is very carefully worded to avoid acknowledging the many ISIS-inspired attacks on his watch https://t.co/PKOtGJG7nA

I never go out of my way to be lied to and I'm not about to start now.

Honestly, this is a huge slap in the face to the men and women who were murdered by terrorists on our soil. But if we’ve learned one thing over the past eight years, is that President Obama’s top priority is President Obama. His image must be preserved at the expense of everything else — including the truth.
