Author Joyce Carol Oates doesn’t care much for guns. And that’s her prerogative. But if you’re gonna make an anti-gun argument and expect to be taken seriously, you’re gonna have to do a lot better than this:

"Concealed carry" almost certainly will result in grade inflation in Texas & other gun states, thus diminishing value of degrees there.

large, popular courses with hundreds of students will be particularly affected. out of 350 students it only takes one to be "very unhappy."
