For a little while now, Donald Trump’s been preparing his voters to come to grips with him losing in November by claiming that this year’s presidential election is “rigged.”
It started during the primaries:
I will be interviewed on @foxandfriends at 9:00 A.M. I will be talking about the rigged and boss controlled Republican primaries!

Trump added that he has heard “more and more” that the November election will be rigged — suggesting to his supporters that the outcome of the election is out of the hands of voters.
…
“I’m telling you, November 8, we’d better be careful, because that election is going to be rigged,” Trump added. “And I hope the Republicans are watching closely or it’s going to be taken away from us.”
But Trump’s assertion is pretty interesting in light of this four-year-old tweet:
