What a joke:
Obama: “In the aggregate, Black America is better off now than when I came into office. The gap between white and Black America persists."

On race relations: Pres Obama says Black America better off than when he took office. But concedes income/wealth gap btn Whites & Blacks.

Pres. Obama: Black America is better now, but we still have work to do. http://t.co/BUTyU37xEH http://t.co/nJuYvybEAh

Transcript:
April D. Ryan: “Ending 2014, what is the state of Black America as we talk about those issues, as well as race relations in this country?”
Obama: “Like the rest of America, Black America in the aggregate is better off now than it was when I came into office. The jobs that have been created, the people who have gotten health insurance, housing equity that’s been recovered, the 401 pensions that have been recovered. A lot of those folks are African American. They’re better off than they were.”
Is that so, Mr. President? Because you really, really could’ve fooled us.
Did he just say Black America is better now than when he was elected? I misheard, right?

Not really sure many blacks will agree with President Obama's response on the state of black America…

It’s easy to ignore reality when you’ve got one foot out the door.
"And now I'm going on vacation," said the Pres., wishing reporters "Mele Kalikimaka," which means "Merry Christmas."
