Hey, Ferguson-area protesters, give yourselves a big hand. You’re screwing things up for kids:

More from KSDK.com:
Several schools in our region are sending letters home to parents ahead of the grand jury decision in the Michael Brown case.
This week, the Ferguson-Florissant sent home a note explaining how timing of the announcement will impact the school’s response. If the decision is announced during school hours, the district may dismiss early and provide transportation home. If bus routes are inaccessible, the district will keep students at the schools, with supervision, until a parent or guardian can get their child.
…
“There’s fear. As a parent, you want to protect your children. I’ll be honest, my wife has made it clear that if the [announcement] comes out and its midday, my kids are getting pulled,” [Ferguson-Florissant School Board President Robert] Chabot said.
And:
just announced: the jennings school district will begin the thanksgiving holiday early. No school Monday or Tuesday. #ferguson @ksdknews

How sad is that?
I hope children in Ferguson aren’t being denied an education over fear of riots by out-of-towners.
