Joe Biden's screwy 'View': Obamacare-induced unemployment liberates women [video]

It’s just Uncle Joe bein’ Uncle Joe!

Our favorite VP stopped by “The View” this morning to spread some truth about Obamacare. Unfortunately, the truth about Obamacare is that it sucks. But Team Obama should know better than to send Bumbling Biden in to do damage control. For all of Biden’s efforts, the only successful spinning he managed was spinning himself and the White House into an even deeper hole.

Walters: Is it a job killer, Obamacare?

Biden: Look, this is a really good report. Now let me explain what I mean. When you get beyond — no, let me explain why — you get beyond the headline, about 2,000 jobs [Editor’s note: Actually, Joe, that’s two million jobs] will be lost, Mr. Elmendorf, the guy who runs the Congressional Budget Office, when he testified, pointed out, this is about freedom. How many of you are single women, with children, in a dead-end job, you’re there because of your health insurance. You would rather have the opportunity to spend the next couple years with your child, till they get — if that was your choice — till they get into primary school. You’re now trapped in that job because if you leave, you lose your health insurance. Now, you’d be able to do — make an independent choice: do you want to stay in that job, and still have health insurance? Or do you want to — I mean, do you want to stay in that job, or — even though you can get health insurance absent that job? And it gives women a great deal more freedom.
