Maybe Obamacare wasn’t as healthy as the Dems wanted us to believe. Bloomberg is reporting that the employer mandate will be delayed an additional year:
WH to delay employer mandate in health care law by a year. Scoop by @mikedorning @aawayne

From Bloomberg:
The decision will come in regulatory guidance to be issued later this week. It addresses vehement complaints from employer groups about the administrative burden of reporting requirements, though it may also affect coverage provided to some workers.
The two [Obama administration] officials, who asked not to be identified to discuss the move ahead of its announcement, said the administration decided to wait until 2015 before enforcing the employer mandate in order to simplify reporting requirements and give businesses more time to adapt their health-care coverage.
Obamacare delayed until 2015. Free puppies brought forward to October, 2014.

So many implications to that employer mandate news. Waiting to hear more details.

The political implications are huge:
I wonder why it wd be bad for Dems for a key part of one of their biggest legislative achievements to go into effect before an election…

Shorter Obama Administration: "Um, letting ObamaCare kick in next year is bad for Democrats' election prospects, mmmkay?"
— RBe (@RBPundit) July 2, 2013
Please note that the @WhiteHouse is delaying Obamacare implementation until after the elections –> again.
— Area Man (@lheal) July 2, 2013
Delaying the employer mandate to 2015 is a relief to Senate Dems, worried about the political blowback in the runup to midterms
— Josh Kraushaar (@HotlineJosh) July 2, 2013
So basically the White House realizes what a political disaster ObamaCare is & they kick this past the 2014 election http://t.co/yu61OYURQ2
— Brian Walsh (@brianjameswalsh) July 2, 2013
Obamacare has got so much more popular that its implementation is being delayed until after an election for the second time in three years.
— Charles C. W. Cooke (@charlescwcooke) July 2, 2013
If you like your plan you can keep it FOR ONE MORE ELECTION CYCLE!
— Phil Kerpen (@kerpen) July 2, 2013
If the Administration just delays implementing the whole law until 2115, they can take credit for passage without any downside at all.

Protip: If you have to keep delaying provisions of your super-duper law (ObamaCare), it probably sucks. A lot.
— RBe (@RBPundit) July 2, 2013
No kidding. This is nothing if not a stunning admission of failure on the Obama administration’s part:

Dear Media, the Obama admin has just admitted that ObamaCare is bad for business / jobs. Report that. Thanks.
— RBe (@RBPundit) July 2, 2013
ObamaCare is so awesome we need to keep delaying its implementation and repealing parts of it. That's how awesome it is.
— Sunny McSunnyface (@sunnyright) July 2, 2013
Hats off to Sen. Baucus. Train wreck indeed. #Obamacare
— Bill Murphy (@billmurphy) July 2, 2013
Who could’ve seen this coming?
Personally, I am shocked all of Obama's speeches didn't solve all the issues with Obamacare. Really thought that would work.

The health insurance market, like the planet itself, keeps turning out to be more complex than liberals predicted.

Gee.
This sort of seems silly now. http://t.co/VgmQmcd4FR #obamacare

For what it’s worth, the Treasury Department’s already spinning this madly:
"During this 2014 transition period, we strongly encourage employers to maintain or expand health coverage." http://t.co/rwCEtm4NhQ

Uh huh RT @BrianFaughnan: Treasury says they're implementing Obamacare in a 'careful, thoughtful way' http://t.co/7MdDVl2yLV
— Melissa Mackenzie (@MelissaTweets) July 2, 2013
Careful and thoughtful: that’s our government in a nutshell!
What a joke.

We had to pass ObamaCare to find out what was in ObamaCare so we could delay ObamaCare because oh my God what's in it is a disaster.
— Sunny McSunnyface (@sunnyright) July 2, 2013
Disaster, indeed.
The sudden delay of employer mandate is a massive retreat…. now why not delay INDIVIDUAL mandate too???
— Phil Kerpen (@kerpen) July 2, 2013
Here’s hoping “delay” becomes “destroy.”
Here's an idea: Since people really don't like Obamacare and it's apparently unworkable, why don't we just repeal it?
