Boom: Romney tells Wolf Blitzer Obama needs to worry about jobs, not Big Bird

Speaking earlier today to a crowd of 1,200 at a campaign event in Iowa, Romney took Obama to task for his ridiculous harping on Big Bird. Even the über-liberal Politifact awards the Romney-hates-Big-Bird meme its “pants on fire” rating.

No kidding. Team Obama’s feather-brained obsession has been nonstop, bordering on deranged.

In an interview with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, Romney made it clear that President Obama needs a serious priority check. It’s the American people who are at risk; Big Bird will get through this just fine.

Romney also took a swipe at CNN (who, incidentally, hired this guy as a contributor):
