San Antonio homeowners steamed about living over former sewer treatment facility

Home not-so-sweet home:

Several homeowners who invested in property in southwest San Antonio are now protesting the home builder. They’re upset D.R. Horton did not disclose their homes were built over a former sewer treatment plant.

The sewer treatment plant closed in 1992 and D.R. Horton said it purchased finished lots in Stablewood Farms near S.W. Loop 410 and Hwy 90 around 2002.

Some homeowners claim their houses have foundation problems and they claim there’s often a foul smell in the area. The homeowners want D.R. Horton to buy back their homes.

Probably best to stay away from the community swimming pool.
