Yesterday, Brett told you about the U.S. Air Force’s salute to the Pride flag.
June is #PrideMonth! The Department of the Air Force proudly recognizes and celebrates generations of LGBTQI+ service members and their contributions to our #AirForce & #SpaceForce. pic.twitter.com/lQi9lH5sdr

That’s pretty cringe, of course. We’re talking about the United States Air Force, after all. Do they have nothing better to do than to try to score the cheapest of woke points with progressives, who aren’t exactly known for being super supportive of the U.S. military?
But if you think that’s a bad look for the Air Force, just wait til you get a load of this stirring ode to Pride from … the CIA:
CIA's 2023 theme for #Pride Month is WELCO-ME!
Wellness
Equity
LGBTQ+
Community
Openness
ME!Pride Month is an occasion for all of us at the Agency to pay tribute to the rich history, community, and mission contributions of our LGBTQ+ officers.#Pride2023 pic.twitter.com/aEEZplX13s

I had to screenshot it. It must be preserved for posterity.
Guys, the CIA is really doing this. As if their reputation isn’t already enough of a hot mess right now without whatever the hell that tweet is supposed to be.
Just here for the ratio

Same. So grab a snack, pull up a chair, and enjoy the show.
Lol is this a real tweet?

Yes

If you were trying to do a parody of the CIA, you could never come up with something as amazing as what the actual CIA actually came up with.

Shouldn’t you be destabilizing a Latin American government? https://t.co/GCWolqvulP
— Jon Gabriel (@exjon) June 8, 2023
I can’t imagine there are a whole lot of hostile Latin American governments who look at that tweet and are worried about being destabilized by the same CIA that thought it was a good idea.
Re-branding US foreign policy and the US intelligence agencies, including the CIA, as a crusade for LGBTQ2AI+ rights is a truly genius feat of marketing.
It's one of the reasons – not the only – that US liberals now regards the CIA and US foreign policy as so benevolent.🏳️🌈💣🌈 https://t.co/XahmRTXGDn
