Even supporters of the trans community (or supporters of entire the 2SLGBTQI+ community, whatever that entails) should be at best very uncomfortable with such laws even being proposed. If history has taught us one thing, it’s that policies restricting one group’s speech will snowball down the slippery slope and gather up a lot more groups before it gets to the bottom.

Sorry, but that’s not how this works. That’s not how any of this works.
Based on appearance alone, it’s understandable if you’re not inclined to take these people seriously. But they’re not joking around. They really want to criminalize speech. Criminalize opinion. Don’t subscribe to the tenets of woke orthodoxy, like that drag isn’t just appropriate for children but good for them? Or that ideology that is not explicitly pro-trans is harmful and dangerous? You’d better be prepared to pay — quite literally — for your wrongthink.
