There’s plenty to mock when it comes to Canada, but we’ve got to hand it to the Canadian Cancer Society, at least … when it comes to getting the word oot aboot cancer screenings, they’re making sure they’ve got everyone covered. And we do mean everyone:

You know, before the Canadian Cancer Society came along and pointed it out to us, we had never really considered the dearth of information out there about cervical cancer risks for trans women. Of course, that may have had something to do with the fact that trans women cannot get cervical cancer.

Kayla Lemieux can get 75ZZZ prosthetic boobs if it floats her boat (actually, 75ZZZ prosthetic boobs may qualify as boats), but no matter how hard she tries, she can’t get cervical cancer. So she might as well go back to just being a dude.
You shouldn’t be concerned about experiencing transphobia during a cervical cancer screening; you should be concerned about looking like a complete idiot getting screened for cervical cancer when you don’t have a cervix.

In Canada, it’s quite often a dumb time to be alive. But this is dumb even for them.
This is well worded tbh. Any transwoman researching cervical cancer is confused—maybe there’s even a language barrier. So the message is: “we understand you’re worried about cancer and afraid you won’t be treated fairly. Let’s get you into the office and go from there!”

No, it's not. They could say "As you don't have a cervix, there's no risk. However, there are many reasons to have pelvic screenings that aren't cervical cancer, so you should get one anyway."
Unlike what they actually said it would be true rather than condescending.
