Jimmy Kimmel taps his wife — and young kids' mom — to beg Americans to vote blue to protect abortion

If you missed “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night, you missed a very important moment. We are at a crossroads, America.

And when the stakes are this high, you bring out the big gun, aka his wife Molly McNearney. Molly is Jimmy’s better half, and she’s an even better messenger for the Democrats than he is. Just watch her impassioned plea to Kimmel’s audience to vote blue to save abortion:

Wow. Stunning and brave. But even more than that … hella creepy. Not to mention highly inappropriate. The Left’s compulsion to politicize all aspect of our lives is pretty disturbing. And on occasion, illegal.

We suppose they could … but the way things are going, this in-kind donation probably won’t have made much of a difference. Jimmy and his wife could straight-up stand there and say “VOTE FOR DEMOCRATS TOMORROW” and the handful of people who actually see it won’t be able to do a damn thing. Not that the Left aren’t trying, of course.

She didn’t really get into any of that. She did bust out the intellectually dishonest line about how pro-life laws would force women to carry their babies to term even if their lives would be threatened by doing so, as is the case with ectopic pregnancies (which are not, contra pro-aborts’ insistence, illegal). She also made sure to emphasize how important it is for poor people to be able to abort their unborn kids.

The whole thing was weird, honestly. Weird and cringey and uncomfortable to watch. And if it’s uncomfortable for us, just imagine how the Kimmels’ son must feel:

Yeah … we wish that kid lots of luck. And a good therapist. Can’t be easy to grow up in a house listening to your parents talk about how important it is to preserve the “right” to kill your unborn brothers and sisters.

If abortion is mercy then the network should abort this show.
