We’re on Day Whatever of Elon Musk’s authoritarian Twitter takeover, and many of the stunning and brave heroes who have dedicated the past several years of their lives fighting stunningly and bravely against Donald Trump have shifted their attention to fighting stunningly and bravely against Elon Musk.
One of those Resisters is actor Ron Perlman, who, if you’ll recall, bravely peed on his own hands in silent protest of sexual predator Harvey Weinstein, because actually calling out and exposing Weinstein would’ve been too obvious. Ron is decidedly not happy that Elon Musk is calling a lot of the Twitter shots now.
And he’s got a message for Musk:
Welcome Elon, you little bitch you. And twitter out…..

“Twitter out.”

Probably not that sorely missed. Especially if he doesn’t actually go anywhere.
I notice you're still here. https://t.co/G30WV2e9Hj

He is, in fact, still here. His account hasn’t been disabled. He’s still got it up, so everyone can see his awesome badass pic and background, and, most of all, his entire history of awesome tweets:
Actually, you know, that seems to be the case for a number (more than a dozen?) self-righteous liberal celebrities who have vowed to exit Twitter because Elon Musk is in charge.
Téa Leoni, Shonda Rhimes, Alex Winter and Sara Bareilles are among the celebrities leaving Twitter after Elon Musk's takeover. https://t.co/WyiPFYkCyH

So far, we have no idea if anyone would miss them when they’re gone, because they haven’t actually gone anywhere.

They aren't leaving, they're just virtue signaling narcissists. https://t.co/DDeaKDQxD2 pic.twitter.com/TS8F7Wxrbe— Hammy ✈🇺🇲 (@e2pilot) October 31, 2022
We knew they were just virtue-signaling narcissists before Elon Musk came along, but this just cements it further.
Is "I'm leaving twitter" just this week's "I'm moving to Canada if he wins the election"?
— Katrina Gulliver (@katrinagulliver) October 31, 2022
Yes. In fact, in 2024, if Ron DeSantis ends up being the presidential nominee — really, if there’s a Republican nominee at all — expect to hear all the people who said they would leave Twitter over Elon Musk and never actually left to promise to move to Canada if the GOP wins … and never actually leave.
Why do they always have to tease us about leaving? Why can’t they deliver on their promise?
Run along.
