'Keep talking': Dem Rep. Marcia Fudge's bigoted rant against Trump voters would make 'a great Republican campaign ad' [video]

Despite her name, Democratic Rep. Marcia Fudge is anything but sweet. It’s also far to say that she’s not terribly bright, because she evidently thought this is a good way to take a stand against Donald Trump:

Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH) on the House floor: “many who support [Trump] are either racist, steeped in religious beliefs, ignorant, or as my mother used to say, just plain dumb. … [Trump's victory] measures the declining patriotic and moral values of the many citizens of America” pic.twitter.com/RzQNqDcNmL

Unhinged bigotry is certainly an interesting strategy.

How NOT to convince people to your way of thinking

In modern times they’ve never been more open about hating half the country.

This is absolutely shameful. What a revolting way to look at the people of our great country. https://t.co/jmyXfUr0zQ

Marcia Fudge going all scorched-earth on millions of Americans is a surefire way to win hearts and minds! It definitely worked out well for the Democrats last time around.

They’re doing it again

This makes for a great Republican campaign ad.

The "deplorables" thing worked out so well for Hillary that I hope the eventual Dem nominee keeps up this line of attack.

This is how you get four more years of Trump. https://t.co/8kokPcCWVH
