Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer wants to make sure that those of you watching the State of the Union Address know how awful things really are:
Schumer: The state of the union is not strong. The state of the Trump economy: failing America’s middle class. The state of Trump healthcare: failing American families. The state of the Trump administration: chaos. The state of Trump foreign policy: woefully backward, inside out.

The state of Chuck Schumer’s anti-Trump game isn’t super-strong, either, if we’re being honest.
Did Stephen Colbert not show Schumer the jobs report? https://t.co/oTbQbi6AX3

Must’ve missed the jobs report

I looked for a job in 2010 and I am looking now. Light years better now.

… How?
Wages are up, job reports are through the roof, and overall income is seemingly up across the board? Wtf is Schumer talking about

@SenSchumer I’m in the middle class and we are thriving. Maybe the middle class in NY aren’t but that is probably your state’s high taxes and cost of living killing them.

Lot of stuff to hammer Donny T on. Economy wouldn’t really be one of those things right now.

Never let it be said that Chuck Schumer is out of touch with regular Americans.
