'Karma in action'! Why is actor Gerard Butler catching so much hate for these #MalibuFire tweets?

Actor Gerard Butler was among the many people whose lives have been turned upside-down by the fires raging in California. Recently, he tweeted about his experience and urged his followers to support firefighters as well as others who have been affected by the devastating fires:
